Today I left for Spain!
I left my house at 7:30 am and got to the airport around 9:00 am, my dad helped me check my bags in, my bags are not the same as what I thought I would be taking because I thought I would be taking 1 large check bag one carry on duffle bag and a backpack, instead I took 2 check bags and a back pack. I switched because I am saving money that way. I just wish we had decided this before 11:30 the night before I leave. Today I have had to do a lot of waiting and I still have a lot more to go. My first plane didn’t leave from Columbus until 11:55 am. I arrived at JFK around 2:00pm and had to figure out how to switch terminals. Once I figured that out I had to go check my already checked bags in (its confusing) and pay more money. Once I finally got through security, I got something to eat and called my mom and I felt pretty accomplished at this point since I did this all by myself. Don’t get me wrong I travel a lot… just not all by my self.
Right now I am sitting at JFK with only 20 min of free wifi and my plane does not leave until 10:35 tonight… what to do now.
I will let you all know when I make it to Spain! Im so excited!
