Three weeks ago I went to Toledo with my spanish family Juan, Maru and Adriana. We went to Toledo because it was Juan's birthday. Birthdays are very important in Spain, its a big family party. It was very fun. The city was very pretty and old. I met Juan's family and they were very nice. I ate very well because Juan's mother is a great cook. I had a good time!

Toledo is a beautiful city!

Road trip! Isn't she so cute :)

I love how the streets are so narrow.

I really liked how the Spanish flag looked over this beautiful building.

Adriana and I

There was some type of old car show in the middle of the city. Juan told us that he used to have a mini cooper and he is telling Adriana about it.

Maru and Adriana walking down the narrow streets.

She got some chocolate ice cream and it got everywhere.

An outside view of the city looking in.

After walking around Toledo for a while we went to the house of Juans parents. It was in a little pueblo outside of the city. They lived in a very small town but a very large house.

This is the main plaza in the pueblo.

These are the stairs inside the house, they were so beautiful, all tile.

Adriana jumping rope in the living room.

This is looking down one of the two large hall ways in the house, there were so many bedrooms!

The cousins painting.

I saw a John Deer tractor while going on a walk with Maru, I got really excited and took a picture, Maru thought that was funny.

Its interesting, in the kids parks here the equipment is more like workout style rather than play style.

Standing in front of an old church on the top of a hill.

Me with my host grandparents. They were the sweetest people :)

I feel so fortunate to have such a great host family that takes me places and inclues me in their lives every day, and I feel like they sincerely care about me. I love them and I am going to miss them soo much.
